With the advent of USB and the death of parallel printing (in the past 5 years, I don’t think I’ve used anything but USB and ethernet) the only thing really interesting on that thing is the DVI port.

Yeah, if it was me, I would have got rid of the parallel port and stuck a few firewire ports on it. For whatever reason people always seem to complain when they don’t have legacy ports anymore. I can’t remember the last time I used a parallel port either. I’ve been printing via USB/network print server for over 5 years.
