If you’re constantly switching back and forth between portable computer and a desktop then you might appreciate this new “unsupported” toy from Microsoft.
It’s a program that allows you to create sets of folder pairs that can synchronize with each other in a variety of ways. So, it could be one way syncs, two-ways syncs, only updated files, etc. You’ll need to make sure all your permissions and connections are setup before using this tool.
For more industrial strength syncs, I personally use Stardock’s ThinkSync product which allows automation, more configurable options, integrates with Windows Explorer, and can transfer files over the Internet.

5 months!? I only get 3 weeks…at least I’m going to Japan on Sunday! Yay! Sadly, I’ll be working most of the time I’m there but still, it’s Japan…I can’t complain.

Yeah it was a nice change from the 3 months I usually get from College. My ‘real world’ money is starting to dwindle though…doing nothing all day you tend to spend more of it.

Man I know I start my last year of college this coming August 24. I’m soooo gonna miss going to bed at ungodly hours of the morning. O how I miss seeing the sun rise before sleeping. O and Japan! awesome I wish I had money to travel this summer this is it for summer vacations for me and I did nothing.

My law school is year round too…I just withdrew for the summer, and plan to every summer…a full load, 15 credits, for all year is just too much. At college 18 credit semesters was norm…but I still had summers off.
I goto San Jose State in Cali (don’t go if unless theres not other choice!). yea I get out in May and early december. Most of my friends who goto Berkeley and UCSD and whatnot start later. I think CSU’s start early. Seriously I regret not going to another school.
