Hi guys im in NJ, USA vacationing at a friends place. Whenever i look for wireless networks i get several networks on the list, including the one which im suppose to be able to access. After clicking on it and adding the WEN it searches for the network address and then it says limited or no connectivity. My friends able to access this same internet just fine.

This is has happened repeatedly now and i dont know what to do about it. I get about 4 networks and i cannot access any of them.

This is happening on my wireless access when the MAC address filter is activated.

It means that if the your computer network card MAC address is not authorized by the router(which means in the authorize MAC address list) you get the message Limited…. To add an address on my router I have to push a button which allow new computer for a period of time. It might be different for your router, you may need to ask your friend to connect to admin console to configure this.

Besides the mac address filtering issue, you may also want to check if a wep key is required. Good luck.
