One of my friends has that slipcase and it’s actually quite nice. It’s very well padded. It’s not hard like the CK5T but it’s thick which makes it “feel” good. For the price, it’s a very good case and the black/silver one looks very stylish.
[quote author=“VAIO Jet”]gr00vy0ne. Which battery was on the computer for the photo in the case?
The enhanced BP3T battery was fitted on the TR. So, yes, the case will fit the BP2T or BP3T. On the BP2T it closes completely. On the BP3T there is a tiny gap but it’s mostly covered and shouldn’t be an issue…unless your bag has lots of loose sharp objects that move around.
I recently purchased the PCGA-CCTR/J Case from the Sony Style Store at the Metreon in San Francisco…it’s a really durable case. I was kind of concerned because the case isn’t really a hard neoprene, but more of a spongy stuff. But my fears were later assayed, as I dropped my TR3A off my desk. Everything’s intact and without a scratch. I’ll post pictures later when I get home. I have the black one, but the blue one looks kinda cool though too. :D

I love the look of the baby blue PCGA-CCTR/L - is there room in this case for a Sierra Wireless card on the side? It’s almost flush with the side of the computer but does jut out a little.
In a month or so ICUBE will release our own brand bag for Sony TR. It will be very similar to MBC-13 (same material and look and feel) but in black color. The tentative price is around $89. I will post more news and pictures when we have it later next month.
