When I bought my TR1 I also ordered a case at the same time and am still waiting for my case - just spoke to shop / Sony / Dabs /etc and there are none to be found anywhere; everyone is waiting for a shipment from Japan.

I have a slight problem in as much as I am off on holiday next week and will be taking my laptop with me as a digital image store - I want to put it into a well protected semi hard case or a neoprene case while it is in my backpack (off to Africa for 2 months) so has anyone got any reccomendations for alternatives that are a good fit.

I also have the extended battery which will add a bit more depth to the machine…..

drachen did an AMAZING review on the waterfield sleeve case which i own and love and it fits like a glove with the extended battery.

There is a site that I used that makes custom and off the shelf neoprene sleeves.  Just thought you might want to check it out as an alternative.

That one actually looks pretty neat (custom made for T3).  Wonder how thick the padding is.

That case definitely looks snazzy, and a pocket for extra storage is the only thing I miss in my awesome Waterfield sleeve. At $35 it’s not too bad of a deal either.

Does anyone have any other pictures of the PCGA-CCTR/J than the one from sonystyle? Especially with the case in action?

Also, does anyone know what kind of closing latch this case has?

Velcro never lasts under heavy pressure. If it’s magnetic, it would be better.
