Some TV channels I watch with my T250 are very educational.

CCTV 9 plays very well, depending on my location with a Verizon Wireless EVDO PC card:

Is it possible to save such videos to the HD as they are playing?

Programs like NetTransport or Conceiva’s Download Studio will let you do this. I suggest downloading their trial versions (30 days) to see if either one works for you.
