Well, I’ve bought a secondary X505 battery for substitude use but was thinking of buying more so that when the batteries go out of production(and it’s probably already out of production, since sonystyle.com only sells the refurbished batteries for X505 now), I would be able to keep on using the X505 for years to come.
Of course, things never seem to work according to plan. I’ve read somewhere that Lithium Ion loses its capacity as soon as it leaves the production line. It doesn’t matter whether it’s in stores, unused or what not, as soon as it leaves the clock starts ticking so buying additional batteries seem like a waste of money.
Does that mean my X505 is condemned to have a life of only a year or two? (Since I will be using it on a daily basis for school purposes.)
