I install the newest driver for WLAN, 9.0.2.0 from Intel and Wireless Switch stop running.  :(  :(  :(

Go into Add/Remove programs and run the repair for the Wireless Switching App. Make sure you have the original install files floating around someplace.

I know that this is incompatible between newest WLAN driver and WL switch utility. I have checked with previous WLAN 9.0.1.0 and WL switch utility worked fine.

Well, if you can’t get it to work. Simply rollback to version 9.0.1.9 unless you have a specific reason why you need to use the latest 9.0.2.0 version.

For what it’s worth, I have the 9.0.2.25 version installed and my wireless switch utility works fine. In my case, I have not installed any of Intel’s PRO/Set software. I simply updated the driver portion and it works perfectly. It may be the PRO/Set software that’s messing things up.

I can confirm the following combination works:

Sony Wireless Switch Utility (version 2,2,1,1160)
Intel Wireless Driver (version 9.0.2.25)
