Also im planning to buy one of these slim ATAPI to standard ATAPI convertors to use this device as a external USB writer connected to my USB 2.0 HUB. (Through a ATAPI to USB adaptor)

Do you think this setup would work as im not sure if the slot loading drive has a slim atapi interface?
