X505 + PCWA-C800S card problem?

I’m not sure what’s going w/ my card but… When ever I try to install / txfr/ copy a file larger than 1meg, the connection would freeze. The wireless control panel shows ZERO errors, but I’d hv to close out the txfr/install task. I enabled and disabled the ‘streaming’ option under the wireless control panel, but it makes no difference.

I can stream video over the wifi NIC ok, but not copy large blocks of files. Anyone hv suggestions? the problem could not be replicated when using the 10/100mbp NIC dongle…

No, never had this problem, transferred tons of heavy files too. Maybe it is something to do with configuration or your router? Not sure….

standard Linksys wrt54g router… been hooked up to a TR3A/averatec 3250 for over a year.. nary a problem, until the new X505 hits it.. i dunno wtf is going on…

I have the 54g and have no problems with my 505…there must be some other cause.
