How do I get rid of the backround color block so only the icons lettering will show in Windows XP? I have a Sony T250 and I am pulling my hair out. I thought I knew XP but I guess not. :shock:

Id try makeing shure the color depth was at 32 bit
Id also try messing with all that active desktop crap mabey thats causeing the problem.
Also try enableing clear type
And try doing the shadow under screen fonts crap.

Ive seen this happen before and im trying to envoke it and i cant do it

Control Pannel
Make sure you have the left task menus on the left of the window open
Switch to category view
Preformance and maintinanc e
adjust visual effects
Adjust for best preformance
