I can’t wait…but then again, yes I can.
It’s not like this current generation of Pentium Ms (essentially the only real mobile CPUs out right now) are hurting in performance in today’s applications. This is even more true for people who have general computing needs. Obviously, gamers, scientists, professionals, etc. can always use more power but it’s not like there’s a ton of software that won’t run on a high-end Pentium M laptop.
Also, I’ll believe decreased power consumption when I see it. While Pentium M is drastically better than previous architectures, it should also be known that battery capacities have gotten better (better technology and more cells standard) at the same time and account for the longer lasting laptops and not the CPUs themselves.
