I’m using the DVgate plus software to rip the videos from my DV tapes, but the output file size is just too too big. I cannot find a way to change the output file size, it only encodes the video it outputs to some DIVX codec which takes a lot of space. Is there a way to change the setting so that this output video is encoded into a smaller size video within dv gate plus and without using a different s/w ?

Help greatly appreciated.
