I’m a new t270 user (about three weeks) and just this week started experiencing a strange video problem.  Basically after the unit is on for a while (making me think it’s possible heat related), the right 1.5”  side of the screen becomes totally blurred for any text.  If you try to play a dvd when the screen is in this condition, then it causes the whole screen to go black. 

I tried plugging an external monitor in to see if I could duplicate the problem, and found that it was not an issue since it reformats for a standard 4:3 monitor on both the T270 and external. 

I also updated to the latest Intel video card software for the unit with no improvement.

Anyone have any ideas?

Maybe your lcd has problem.

See your photos and hard to say what problem is.
Just try Safe Mode to see any changes.
