Knowing how knowledgeable you all are please can someone tell me why some mobile phones are different from others when it comes to bt?????
I have just bought a simple plug in car kit and it won’t pair with my spv c500, why? And as it doesn’t, why can’t I download a patch so it does? It just annoys me, luckily i didn’t spend too much. But I did think that bt was universal!

If you do a BT discovery from the phone can you see the car kit listed? Is your phone in discoverable mode?

The c500 AFAIK supports both handsfree and headset profiles, at least one of which should be supported by the car kit.

Interestingly enough my cousin had the same problem with her c500 like yourself, but it worked in the end. I remember visiting a few forums for her and many people mentioned BT issues with car kits and c500.
