I don’t know why but that is how all recovery sets are made on VAIOs - always required a CD at the end of the process. However when you buy one from Sony, it just comes as one DVD recovery set.

Yeah I don’t understand that either. My U series was like that…1 DVD 1 CD from myself…when I complained to Sony they sent me (again) a free DVD recovery…it was only 1 DVD and worked fine.

Hey Erik, could you please post your complaint script here, so next time when we call we can get a free DVD recovery. 

does any 1 have the recovery dvd or cd for tr3a if they do i would pay u via paypal and u could post it to me. thanks

It’s pretty simple acutally, I believe I posted it before…

“I kept on getting errors when trying to make the recovery set…so I called tech support. They told me it was bad media…so I went out and bought 20 Sony CD-Rs…same isssue, called back and said, it’s Sony media…now whats the excuse…he said sometimes the recovery program messes up and they will send the DVD free…I asked for 2 because I said I was going to make 2 sets…he Fedex’d both sets overnight for free. “

hey erik.. what error would it give u?  i called up sony and im almost to the point where they would give me a set of recovery dvds.  but they want me to do another system recovery and then try it again.  but i never had an error, i just want free recovery cds.  lol.. so what error could i tell them happened..?
