So I am home on vacation for a few weeks and decided to service my old clients…err, that sounds weird, I visited my old clients to see if they needed my help.
One of my very good clients decided to bring an old PC from the office back to his house to use ‘aol’. He said he was having problems and would I mind coming over to his house to help him out. I told him I was supposed to go to a bar that night with my friend but we could stop by for a few minutes, figure out the problem, and come back the next night to fix it.
I show up and realize he brought the oldest damn PC he could find home. So he said he stuck the AOL CD into the PC but nothing happened. I looked at the PC but didn’t see a CD drive…then I noticed a floppy drive…5.1/4. I started hysterical laughing. He said it fit so he thought it was a drive, never seeing an older floppy. When I cought my breath I asked him how in the world he got the disc out…he said that was the tough part, he had to turn the tower forward for the disc to slide out. LOL.
I’ve heard people using a CD tray as a cup holder but i’ve never seen someone stick a CD into a floppy drive. LOL.
