Hey, Erik, I was just wondering if you are still playing with your U? I hope it is still in some use. I guess Sonystyle USA has never brought it back here.
I can’t wait for Sony to come up with some extraordinary VAIO again…seems like something is in the works…

Yeah I’m still playing with it. I just finished classes and I am taking a week or so off to go back to NJ. When I get back to MI i’ll have several posts of accessories and such.

Erik, I know you have the Treo smartphone as well.  How would you compare it to the ‘U’ as far as executing simple tasks like wireless internet and e-mail.  I’ve been thinking about getting a smartphone but felt that they needed a liitle more time to develope.

There are a few Treo 600/650 users at my company, and they’re great with wireless email. The users who have Verizon love their push email service and another on Cingular likes Snappermail. A couple dumped Blackberries for these suckers. I can’t really comment on the Web browser, but I imagine that it’s as limited as other mobile browsers. If your carrier supports it, you might try getting one and using the 30-day trial period.
