i believe there was a few TR’s with 2mb cache… but it was right at the end… just as they discontinued the model

as for the hd vs battery life… i guess i can’t argue with you on that.  i don’t know too many computers that’ll run 4 hrs on their standard battery.

Yes, you’re right. IMO, almost laptop use 2.5” drives has enough space for its battery with higher capacity than one using 1.8” drives due to less space for its major components.

Right…now I am looking for the following spec of laptop…what do I do?

- NO MORE than 10in screen
- MINIMUM resolution 1280 x 780 !!!!
- 2.5” hard drive
- Pentium M 1.1gh or more
- light…around 3lbs (1.5kgs)
- Built in DVDRW & CDRW

TR or T series would have been great if it weren’t for the hard drive. ( I need high capacity, high speed hard drive for what I do. ie 7200rpm

Any ideas guys?

Check out the Fujitsu Lifebook P7010D. It has the 2.5” hard drive you so desperately desire. The other alternative is to get an external hard drive.
