Is there a SATA 7200 RPM in 2.5 inch form factor available ? Or is 5400 RPM the best one can buy at the moment.

I’m looking to do a raid 0 or raid 1—i have to research this.
And my current SATA HD is sooooooo L O U D !!!!!

I’m looking for a quiet one. Good luck with your search. What criteria do you use in buying one?

I don’t think the 2.5” 7200RPM models are SATA yet but should be later this year especially since all the new notebook chipsets will be sporting SATA interfaces.

I’d like it to be fujitsu coz i’ve had very good experience with them and my current S3XP has a fujitsu. Thats about it, really !
