I just upgrade my TR5AP’s DVD drive to make it unlock DVD-RAM by following this guide,

1) Download UJ-812 firmware rewriting Tool for IBMThinkPad.
ftp: //ftp.software.ibm.com/pc/pccbbs/mobiles/fwdm0101.exe.
2) Create the firmware rewriting FDD according to explanation of the IBM site.
3) Created FDD is FDD of the DOS form which can be started.
4) Please eliminate two unnecessary files (fw.exe and fw.pro).
5) Please edit LDR_BZ01.EXE using a binary editor.
It needs to be patch worked for making PC model check processing portion skip.

6) The main program which Update the firmware is LDR_BZ01.EXE.
7) Firmware data is LDR_BZ 01.812.
8) If you run LDR_BZ01.EXE, a firmware will updated newer version.

after the flashing, my TR can really read/write DVD-RAMs, but now the problem is, it can NOT write DVD-R and CD-R anymore, I’ve tried burn them with NERO and Drag’n Drop, but all failt. Anybody knows how to fix this problem?
