They sold more then half their initial shipment. They won’t say much more then that.

The 500,000 units are in the first two days of the launch. I would suspect that Sony will have a stand-alone unit available by Christmas, to boost the # of units sold. More will be sold as more games are made for it. I don’t know anyone who bought one and said, “I’m just going to watch movies or listen to music for it”. My guess is that the initial allotment of 1mil value packs will be sold in N. America before Sony is done with their 1st quarter (June 30).

Actually that is the exact thought I had when I planned buying PSP, because I am not a gamer-geek, but I am pretty impressed with the graphics of the games and am waiting for more games to be out (like Sonic)  :wink:

Yeah me too.. Sonic would be cool to play in PSP cuz of its widescreen format…  And I miss the rings resounding when he gets ‘em..  :wink:
