I’m new here, been surfing lots of sites….and this is the only place i think can help me!!!

Been looking for TR2/B recovery disk coz’ my poor notebook didn’t work for couple of months already…and been adviced by sony guy that the only way is to have it re-installed~~~

Welcome to the forums.  No need to double post, once is enough.  You can buy recovery discs here .  The TR2A discs are probably what you need.  Good luck.

The discs for the TR2A are probably your best bet.  The TR2A is the U.S. equivalent of the TR2B (assuming you live in the US).  The only difference would probably be the language.  If your recovery partition is still there, you could try burning the recovery discs yourself (buy a dvd writer).

If you’re nervous about getting the right disks, call the sonystyle toll free number at the link jashu listed.  While Sony support may not be stellar, they can at least help you out with that (they did with me).

The $16 or so a lot cheaper than buying a DVD burner (unless you needed one anyway…).
