Hey guys! I was doing some pre-spring cleaning on the TR3A and was wondering if I could uninstall the Java 2 Runtime Environment, SE v1.4.2_01. I don’t know if any programs use that but does one of the Sony applications use it?
Thanks!
Should be no problem if you uninstall it. I did. It takes some good space. Some Net applications might require it, for ex. 3D viewing.

A lot of web pages use it though…honestly, I wouldn’t un-install it.
Even basic sites like ebay use Java extensively…for example, their “selling catagory picker” is Java based.
