I am running knoppix linux v3.7 (latest) on my Sony TR1AP.  It works great with two problems:

1)  I am not getting any sound through my sound card.
2)  I am not getting the full wide screen resolution, just 1024x768.

Can some please tell me how to get these working?  I am especially concerned about the lack of sound.  I gather from posts on this and other forums that some people have managed to solve these problems.  I have never seen a specific solution outlined, however.
