Roxio 7. Will it work with a Sony DRX 710UL using Nero 6 ???

hi. i am having a problem with burning dvds on my sony drx 710ul using the latest update from Nero and a sony K33 notebook.  will the Roxio 7 work with the burner or is it locked to using Nero? thanks.

Any burning software would work. Its never locked to any s/w as such.
