My hitachi in my tr3 has been making the horrible clicking sounds that we all know and hate, and failing to do somethings (like copy off data), making have to restart all the time. I got it in May, but I installed the bluetooth into it. Should I buy a new hard drive, or can I send it to Sony somehow? I really need it for school…

Any other suggestions?

Open the TR, remove the bluetooth module and software and send it in to Sony.

dont forget to backup ... i just lost all my f*cking data, even recovery company like ontrack isnt able to retrieve data ...

luck in bad luck, i got some parts of my most important data on cd
