Well, the TR guys sure have had a great time talking about the DVD player cases that fit their computer perfectly. I finally found a case that fits the T-series. I think it would also be great for the TR with the high capacity battery.

I was in Comp USA and saw the Samsonite L25 in the DVD player area.
 
It’s advertised to hold up to 12” DVD players.

The T fits inside the case perfectly. Padding is excelent. This is not a hard case, but it does have pretty good structure. It holds its shape well.  Two Velcro straps secure the T.  There’s plenty of room for CDs. The case is thicker than it needs to be, but that’s actually an advantage for me. I park my car outside for an hour at 6 AM while I visit the gym. I don’t like the computer getting cold because it can cause condensation inside the computer. The extra depth is just right for my hot pack.

The outside compartment has two pockets for cell phone / calculator / etc. and a net pocket. There is room for a charger, but you’ll have to pack light. The outside pocket can’t expand all that much. The back has a thin outside zipper compartment which can hold a few sheets of paper if folded in half.

The build quality is just terrific. Samsonite offers a 3-year warrenty, and I’m sure they won’t get many returns. The zippers are rugged, the zipper pulls are large.  The case has a handle and a detachable shoulder strap. The strap hardware looks like it’s built to withstand abuse.

I paid $30.  You could probably find it cheaper.

In summary, this case fits the T to a T.
