I htink there are positive aspects of different distros. I chose Mandrake, because I was running it on my PC and it is working fine. It is an easy distro to strt with linux and updating is easy. We have a file server at my squat (running on debian) which gets the update packets at night an I get them on my local machine via chronjob. Makes it even more confortable.Thats why everyone at my place is using Mandrake and I can find some help.
Except the sound most things worked fine on Mandrake (it took some time but music is back. ) But after reading the documentations on linux on TRs there seems to be quite good experience with Fedora as well.

It might take some time until I write a documentation, but I won’t forget: Patience…

TR1A - Right now installing Debian. Once I know that Nessus will work with FC4 I’ll do that one too…
