going shopping in Thailand this week and I am looking for a good flat-panel monitor to compliment the TR when at home.  Would be real nice if it had a TV tuner/Composite&s-video monitor inputs as well. Can anyone recommend a brand/model and / or a place to purchase in Bangkok?  Thanks!!!

If you want a nice TV tuner/and RCA input, i would say Samsung.
Which model ? i’m not sure.. there are many of them.
I can also recommend you the place:
I used to lived in Thailand , and I just went back for visit last summer.
Summer overthere is really reallyhot and stuffy.
I had my TR w/ antec cooler with me, so i was okie
Ususally, I went to the place call Pantip Plaza. It was the mall that (almost) all of them are computer/electronic stuff. There are several other places,too. I believe they called it.. “Seri Center”, and another one i know is “Tawana”. Tawana is near pantip plaza. I would prefer Pantip Plaza..

hey thanks for that, as per online reviews, i think i will pick up the   Samsung SyncMaster 192MP or maybe the 17” one of that type. looks perfect for my tiny office home office and its silver!

that pic looks like the mall next to Fortune hotel/Teso Lotus in Rachadaphisek Rd. I just remembered, it’s huge. 

I always go BKK this time of year if i can - cooler - no antec needed   Right now in KTM it’s the only thing keeping me warm, my TR.
