My dog doesn’t play well with robots…she destroyed a friend’s furby…she hates anything that moves/makes noise that isn’t real…

That being said, i’ve always wanted an Aibo.

i always thought that aibo can’t climb the stair..
well ...probably this one is just a small step, that’s why it could climbs down.

Aye that has been specially programmed as normal Aibo’s stay away from stairs at all costs !!. My ERS-7 certainly just turns it’s back on stairs and does not try and climb down them lol.

A: No, that is a myth, the Aibo cannot climb stairs. The fact is, Aibos can’t climb much of anything, and are hampered by elevation changes greater than approximately 3/4” (0.75 inch). As a way of explaining away photographic ‘evidence’ ...many, if not most, of the photos (and videos) featuring Aibos are staged, with the featured Aibo having been switched off and ‘posed’ for the desired effect. (Unlike the photo of our Aibo ‘Nero’ on our main page title, which is a ‘live’ shot.)
