One thing you can try is to turn off the Windows Zero Config Wireless option. Just unclick it once you’ve established your connection. Technically, it should keep your connection and ignore the other signals around you.
That’s one of the problems with Windows Zero Config…it’s constantly polling around to see what networks are out there. And it will sometimes try to grab another network. It’s pretty lame.
Another thing you can try (which doesn’t always work) is to forcibly remove those other networks from your “preferred list”. Of course, the problem with this is that it often comes back after you’ve removed it.
Lastly, another thing to try is to find the generic configuration software for the chipset in the TR2AP3 which allows you to specify profiles and force a specific connection. That’s the method I use right now on mine. You manually have to change connections in every new location but the advantage is that it never drops a given connection.
