Hi, I previously was looking for TR5AP users that could send me a copy of their Bios so I could flash my TR5B - Japanese model to install the DVD Recovery disk to change to English.

I have found a few users, but none including myself are computer experts and would like some help on how to make a copy.

Can anyone advise a user friendly soft that will make a copy of the Bios that they can email to me, thanks.

The TR3AP Bios is on the Sony support site for download, but they are yet to upload the TR5AP.

I have been trying for months to get the Bios but with no luck to date, even when I travelled back to Aussie recently I was hoping the service center would help me, but they just laughed, so I felt very disappointed.

did u ever resolve, its an interesting question - copy/backup bios on the TRs - sounds like a very good idea and i have seen programs that do this for CD/DVD drives, but not for a laptop. so there is a TRAP3 update somewhere?  that’s what i got - wonder what the bios change does?
