I guess it is not a big deal but does anyone know why my TR2 says that I have 508 instead of 512 megs of RAM in the control panel/sytem section?

It does so because part of the main memory is used by the graphics chipset. The TR uses a unified memory architecture and the graphics chipset borrows memory from the main memory to power the graphics. It can use up to 64MB of main memory depending on the application need. So, this is normal and you shouldn’t be too worried about it.

Can you explain your question here? Are you asking how much memory is used by the video card? If so, you don’t really have a choice. It’s dynamic. The chipset will borrow as much memory as it needs (up to 64MB maximum) depending on the application. So, it can be using as little as 4MB and as much as 64MB of memory at any given time. You don’t need to set anything. It’s all done automatically.
