I believe that it is the same crap, that they use in the 4gb microdrives, but with more optimized casing, etc. I have 4gb CF II Hitachi Microdrive with 1.7Mb/Sec transfer. It is considered slow I remember my 386SX/40Mhz had a 120MB samsung with 193KB/sec transfer rate.
