I have been watching ebay and they are going for a decent resell price on the higher end 700ms, at least. I do have the next day two year small business replacement, even if I drop it. I have worked with them over the years and have had no problems with their customer service, but only as a business customer, not a home user. But, I bought the dell through small business, so I expect similar service. And even in two years, when they are selling the 900 m, and not the 700m, they will replace it with a newer model. They have done this at my business several times. BTW, the 700m is made by a different vendor than traditional Dells. If I remember correctly, the 700 was marketed as a Samsung in Japan a few months ago (with a TV tuner and video capture modulel available for the drive bay). I still think Sony engineering and quality are way above the rest, but their CS is on par, at best, with the rest. We will see how it works out. Thanks for the feedback and Chris enjoy the new toy. Perhaps in the near future we will see that new “rumored” TR from the mysterious Sony kiosk poster a few weeks ago.
I get what I want when I want it.
