Sounds pretty suspect to me too.
For an item at that price the seller should be willing to go the extra mile to help out not just continuously suggesting the same thing.
I would question why his wife will only ship the item…

looks like a huge scam to me.

if you want ot be protected

1) meet, pay cash

2) use paypal and credit card that is either visa or mc, they have protections, discover sux lately, amex takes to long for clames

3) go to the store and buy

4) buy from a site online, which has been around 6-12 months at least.

Do not be surprised at what someon can do with a “copy” of a wire transfer document - especially within a culture that does not have our ethics. I am not saying that moneygram or any other money transfer service is corrupt, but there are groups of people who have learnt how to manipulate the system and have “friends” who can make things happen.

You are being driven by “greed” to get something cheap.  Listen to yourself. This is a scam.

Was that you who used Buy It Now? If not someone did… gonna have to keep looking… srry :oops: . Why don’t you try other ultra-portables like the Fujitsu P7000/S6000, JVC 741, the Panasonic series? You could prbably manage to get one of them a little cheaper and just keep looking; http://www.newegg.com and other places. You’ll find one with some time.  :D
