Is it possible to add Bluetooth to this notebook? I see it can be added to the s270. Can I use parts from the S270? I would like to add the 5400 RPM drive also. Thank.
Great!!! I thought the max mem is 1gb. How do you get 2? That install looks a bit tuff but not to bad. I would like to stick the 2ghz proc in. But I dont need that now.
my opinion is that you can, although I doubt that you are capable of doing it. In general it is a matter of skills, equipment and patience.
p.s. With my stress level, even though I stopped the coffee and never smoked, I dont think that I will take the responsibility to perform this upgrade for any fee….

Look…that kind of comment is more or less saying, sure it probably isn’t possible to build a NASA shuttle from scratch, and i doubt, you can, but i’m sure that if you have just enough patience, time and skill (and money) you sure can.

And not only that… the “I dont wanna take the responsibility of doing it” coming from someone who said:
[quote author=“DayWalker”]I can do the CPU upgrade, 120$/hour for the labor, will take me ~ 2h30m. I’ve done such jobs before. It is fun, but also a bitch, especially if you have to recover the equipment if you fry it
Yea… that makes sense. You can upgrade the CPU but not the video chipset?

Dumbfucks You are more retarted than inbred cats… Naive and retarted, great combination.
Original.. have to give you that.
Back to the topic. If you really want the Radeon 9700 BADLY, return yours and get the better model. However, I experience great performance with my 9200
You can upgrade the 9200 to 9700, although I doubt they will sell soldering irons to minors. It is a security issue, they might choke on the plastic wraps AND/or burn themselves, and their mama’s will sue…
p.s. pickup a hot air gun, a solder sucker, the proper soldering pad and a nice little regulated solder to practice first on old mobos, and you might be able to figure it out. If the mobo is not 750$ as it is right now and/or you take the responsibility of fucking it up, I have no problem changing it. The 9200 and the 9700 are the same pinout and the 9700 is sold separately OEM chip only. Go to bed, the grinch is coming…
