The Smart Capture Window appears blue and no input message is displayed on the left hand top corner of the window.
The camera is not detected in the Device Manager and the Smart capture Window appears blue with no input from the camera and the message No input is displayed on the top left hand corner. This may occur when you try to use the camera on battery (when the VAIO is still in factory settings) without having installed the latest version of Power panel from the RDVD (recovery disk).
Reset your VAIO.
NOTE: To reset your VAIO, shut down your VAIO completely. Turn it upside down. Use a paper clip to reset your VAIO. Gently push the paperclip into the small hole located next to the Windows XP Professional Product key Sticker. Please make sure that you push it gently. Push it until you hear a small click . Do not push it too hard or you may damage your mainboard.
After the reset DO NOT USE the camera.

Select Libraries and Utils
Click Install.
Once the required files have been copied to the hard disk, the VAIO will restart. If this happens, remove the RDVD or the VAIO will start the recovery procedure.
