i was wondering if it’s an item that’s highly recommended.  I just bought the ipaq h4150 and I was wondering if i should get the keyboard.  is it a waste of space or a necessity? what do you think? 8)

Well I have one, and was just going to put it on ebay as I don’t use it.

I have the Ipaq 4150, 512mb sd card, 256 mb sd card, official HP keyboard, extra battery etc all fully boxed and in excellent condition.

One thing I do like to use it for is to watch movies!

I used it quite a lot, but now I tend to carry my TR about rather than the 4150 as the TR is so small!

If anyone wants to make me an offer for the for the IPAQ and accessories…I’ll be putting it all on ebay soon anyway.

I also have a cd with about 100 games and apps on - most of which I’ve bought - Age of Empires and ScummVM are brilliant..

I bought an S with the intention of selling my TR later - but I still have it!

Yup, movies look great on my Ipaq - they have to be converted (downsampled) so they fit on a memory card, but they look crystal clear -in fact I was watching LOTR III last night on it in bed..
Each movie can take approx 250 mb - you can use less but the quality will suffer, or more - but there’s no real need to go any higher.

does it take a long time to convert files?

can do, although you can download them already converted.
