Not at all. Intel has already announced plans for a “Yonah” dual-core version of the Pentium M made using a 65nm process. Lower voltages are one of the benefits of going to a dual-core design over just clocking the CPU higher. I seem to remember they will be out in early 2006.
I guess when they come out i should start looking for a new laptop. Be nice if SONY were still making the TR then. That is wishful thinking though, but hopefully there will a laptop that is just as good all the way around.
