UPDATE: NEW PICS: I just want to know if there are any members in the forum who might be interested in buying my TR3A? A lot of you know already that I found an offer to purchase an X505, and I don’t think it would be wise for me to keep two computers when I only need one to work with. I bought my TR3A May of this year, second-hand, but it hardly seemed used at all (there were only 6 charge cycles on the battery). The screen was hardly cleaned to minimize possibility of scratches (I do not find any scratches on the screen at all!), and I find no burned/dead pixels of any kind.
Let me know if you’re interested in buying; PM or e-mail me. My e-mail is .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)

Please e-mail or PM me for additional information, condition, or any other inquiries. I’m currently asking $1,370.00, which will include USPS Priority insured. Deal will come with the 512MB upgrade (authentic Sony OEM), Sony Vaio case, A/C adaptor and power cord, and OEM battery (has 40 charge cycles on it). I should have a set of recovery disks made before it ships out (system will be like out of the factory!).
(I was previously asking $1,350, but I’m including shipping+insurance, and throwing in a $40 case I bought from CDW that I’ve never used; only tried to put my TR in it a couple of times).
Hi gameson. The memory was about $50 plus shipping. He said he entered the wrong shipping amount, so he charged me more for shipping; I believe that was the guy, or someone else. Anyways, here’s the original auction:
Heh, yeah, I hope so, Chris. The problem is, I don’t have much feedback and it takes time to list—add to that the many dishonest/fraudulent buyers online, I’d rather not go through the trouble. Anyways, I’d like to see what kind of business I can make from the forums before choosing that alternative of listing on ebay. Thanks for your comment.
$50 for OEM sony memory? damn, u sure know how to look for bargain. ur TR3A was bought for $1300, memory for $50, basically you aren’t losing any money for your sales. i should consult to u next time if i want to buy stuff. lol.

Thats exactly what I was thinking Concura is one bargin shopper…He should give us some pointers…
lol, definitely, gameson. I never truly intend to make money out of my purchases, but I make sure that I can buy them for cheaper than the “going price” so when I do sell my stuff, at least I’ve had a chance to use the product and get back enough money to finance other ventures. I paid about $40 for my A/C adaptor, so I’m actually “losing” money, but in a sense that it’s worth it since I’ve found an unbeatable deal on an X505.
It’s all about using the correct search-words and running into good deals, Chris. Many people fail to reach good deals before others because they use or are too lazy to make broad searches. Anyways, I’ve often kicked myself when I miss out on a good deal because I didn’t use the “correct term”; sellers can be misled with what they’re selling, and the going-value of current price. There’s a lot of time I commit to research before making any purchases.
Man, I hate to put this up in ebay. No telling what new home it’ll go to.
I still love my baby, but I just can’t afford both laptops. And I feel that using my TR as a desktop a majority of the time defeats the purpose of its size. I miss the good old days when I used to stare into my 15.4"er—wow, the beauty of power those days.
Now, it’s all portability, and I hardly use mine for that purpose.
