I have a TR so I can ask dumb questions like this smile

How do you uninstall software with Mac OS X? I just got a powerbook and want to get rid of some installed software. Is there a software manager like in XP, or do you just move an application to the trash bin.

Sorry it’s so far off the topic, but you guys seem to know all the answers….

p.s- the tr has a naughty shift key and the pb has a naughty return key

hey its not that off topic considering a few other topics. Anyway, uninstalling on MAC OS X is a bit tricky if you ask me. Most programs come with the uninstaller. Otherwise there will be a list of files that need to be removed. Also as you mentioned most programs can be removed by moving their icon to the trash or/and deleting the remaining files from the library.
