I was just thinking right now as I am watching CSI Miami on my dell lcd 17” widescreen in HDTV.
Shopping for office funiture for my new home office. I am just laying down on my bed web searching on my TR.
This is the best way to web surf IMO. I think this is the one thing that is extremely overlooked in the subnotebook perks. Usally its porablity.
But, for me thats not what I use it for everyday. For everyday I use it for kicking back anywhere in my house, perfable on my conforable bed.
I did try for a day using a T-mobile hot spot and enjoyed that….But its not something I do everyday and I don’t think having a subnotebook made it much easier, except carting it there without hurting my already hurt back.
Anyway just wanted to shout out a perk that I think is overlooked….
Also there are a lot of members on this forum that use there TR’s for different reasons.
I use mine for primary for Web surfing, Emails, word, excel and various window programs.
I don’t use anything that requires me to buy an additioal 512 of memory yet. I think I might upgrade that later if I want to run an active desktop or something…..
For the most part I am really impressed with this machine at 8 months of owning it. I think many people have different needs though.
ANd if you need the power the “S” is a beatuiful notebook and gets the job done without the sacefice of space and weight.
