What are the differences between the TR1S and the TR1MP

I have bought a Sony PCG-TR1S from Thailand, but now I’m wondering what differences there are between this model and the official UK model (TR1MP?)

Is the hardware the same? Could I use the drivers for the TR1MP if I wanted to do a clean install of Windows XP? (I can’t find any reference to the TR1S on the Sony support website klinked to elsewhere in this forum - this maybe because the TR1S is supported by Sony Thailand which of course uses Thai alphabest on its website so I can’t read it).

(obviously I know the keyboard has the Thai character markings!)
