According to their website, which I just checked, they are on their 152nd episode. I know its the most watched show on Bravo or something like that and has a huge cult following.
Considering what they expected it to do and the homophobic mindset of most americans, the show is considered a pretty big hit. Not top 20 or anything, but still, it’s not going anywhere for the time being.
I don’t know the exact failure rate of new shows, but I think it’s something like 5 to 1 or something like that.
