sillyrabbitt: The stuff referenced in the post by dakota is correct, my experience was pretty much easy in getting recovery DVDs shipped out to me. Then again, I have a pretty hefty customer support log at Sony and had been on hold for a while, so maybe they decided to be nice. In any case, you can tell them that the CD kit is not a viable option and you want the DVD kit after paying $2500 for your computer. You can always ask to speak to a supervisor if the lower-level tech people don’t budge.
