Hi guys,

I was using Style XP as a trial, but now my trial period as expired, so I am still make up my mind if I buy it or not.

In fact, when I was using it I found quite some bugs on my machine, sometimes when my computer start, the theme was not apply or stuff like this, so that’s why I’m not sure yet about buying the full software.

Is there any alternative (maybe free) to this software ? I try the native interface of windows for using themes but it didn’t work at all.

So, if anybody as any solution, thanks.

Well, you can patch the UXTheme.dll which is well documented or simply buy the regular version of StyleXP which seems to run fine without the annoying proble you mentioned.

Or you can try the other windows skinning program that’s wildly popular. It’s windowblinds and can be found at:
