I just picked up a Sony Ericsson T616 phone, and have been getting things transferred over from the old Nokia. I installed the Bluespace software (came with the BT adapter) and XTND Connect, which came with the phone. After pairing the phone though, I can’t get anything to sync properly.

The BT connection works, since I can send images and stuff between the phone and the computer, am I missing something to get XTND/Outlook to see the phone? Thanks!

Yes, the sony erricson software is a pig. Go into control panel and find phone manager, then goto com ports and click enable on com4.

Open bluespace and enable serial port. Then try the software.

Just be a little careful with XTND cause it is really shit. I would back up your contacts first and the sync so that you can always undo.

Also have a look at   it has lots of cool stuff and they are working on outlook syncing

Fantastic, thanks for the advice Rod! It works like a charm now, though the XTND software is pretty watered down compared to the full version. You can’t even sync your Outlook Notes, just Contacts, Calendar, and Tasks. Ah well, you get what you pay for.
