It looks to me like one more thing to lug around. It weighs almost twice as much as the T1

Personally, I paid a premium for the T1 because it gave me a camera I could carry around without feeling encumbered. If I added your gadget to the mix, I might as well have gotten a larger camera that would accept a microdrive and have everything in one package.

I think we’ll be OK. After the early-adopters pay the premium and the price stablilizes a bit I’d guess they’ll settle in the $200-250 range. Unless you’re doing video, that’s a lot of images.

its just something nice to have if you are no where close to a computer to offload the memory cards. it would just sit in the hotel room until i return each night to offload the pics. i guess my tr would do but but i would much rather have one of these stolen out of my hotel room than my tr ( :shock: )when travelling.

Given the option of what I’d rather have stolen, I’d have to agree. :D But I got the TR for traveling, which leaves me dependent on precaution, insurance and prayer…
